Are you into beach combing but don’t want to bring your cumbersome metal detector on vacation? Then check out these babies – Metal Detecting Sandals !!  

They contain a 9 volt battery and a bunch of copper wire. The ankle pack vibrates, flashes or buzzes when you walk over a metal object. They work for up to 2 feet below the surface. The 9 volt battery should provide 6 hours of unobtrusive, beach combing bliss.

To cover the maximum surface area as you walk along we recommend you develop a horizontal, sweeping type of gait – a bit like an ice skater. You’ll look a right fool but it’ll be worth it if you discover some of Punta Cana’s washed up treasures. Oh, one final thing, you might find it a shocking experience if you step into the sea with these on ;-0
