To drive from Punta Cana to Bayahibe, La Romana or Santo Domingo you will have to pass though Higuey. Driving through Higuey can be tricky as there are no street signs and plenty of one way streets which makes it easy to get lost. The map below shows the easiest routes through Higuey. Higuey is a busy town 40 minutes drive from Punta Cana.
