Private Owners
An alternative to using an accommodation agency is to deal with the owners directly. This often works out cheaper but unless you know the owner personally you can’t be sure he/she is not a shark! There are more and more condos being built in Punta Cana. Location is the key here. Many are beach front but many are quite a distance from the beach and supermarkets so you’d need your own transport. A reputable agent or property owner will provide you with your accommodation’s exact location and it’s distance from local amenities.
Popular areas for condo rental are Cortecito and Los Corales. Check out our map page to see those areas .
TIP: ask your rental agent about noise levels – some condos are located near a hotel disco where the night time noise may be bothersome.
Condos near NH Real Arena resort do not have this problem as NH’s disco is not within earshot of any residential area.
We have received many enquiries as to the location of Cocotal residential/golf condos – this area requires the use of a vehicle to access the beach or the shopping area at Los Corales.
